Quinn Bonney Design Portfolio

Quinn Bonney is a graphic designer based in Buffalo, NY, where she was born and raised. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from SUNY New Paltz, where she developed a wide range of skills under dedicated design faculty. For a portion of her time there, she worked in the campus letterpress studio, cleaning and organizing type—an experience that gave her a hands-on understanding of where many modern practices originate and a deeper appreciation for design history.

Her interest in design is rooted in both her upbringing and her process. Growing up in a family connected to the field—her grandmother studied and practiced graphic design, her great grandmother was a paste up artist and painter, and her great grandfather owned a print shop—she developed an early sensitivity to typography and visual detail. She’s also always been sensitive to how things feel and function in everyday life, which shapes her focus on creating work that is intuitive and enjoyable to interact with.

Today, Quinn approaches each project by taking time to understand its context—who it’s for, where it lives, and how it will be experienced. Her process is shaped by research and curiosity, often exploring how design shifts across different mediums, from the full sensory experience of physical objects to the more focused interactions of digital work.
